Not what I expected. Like a small grocery store that only sells cheese and meat. Very clean. Nice bathrooms. Plus parking.

This place was excellent. I'm writing this review from buying a bunch of smoked sausages and various cuts of meats a few months ago. We froze a bunch and have been eating our way through it. So so good. We're actually planning to go back this summer and our trip is being planned around us being able to stop at Oscar's with an empty cooler to fill up on the way home

Smoked meats are delicious! Open 7 days a week! Breakfast sausage is great, slab bacon very meaty.

Even their meat and cheese delivery service was excellent! Had loved this place since i was a kid. The fire saved the pig in front of their shop location, though the faces behind the counter were motivated and soon after, Oscars reopened for business bringing delight to food lovers galore. Try their maple syrup and counter cheese! Smoked pheasant is something i have only ever tried from here and it still brings me tasty memories. Between a chicken and a duck i would say. I feel a pheasant is a personal sized chicken for an adult.

Great selection of smoked, fresh, and deli meats and cheeses. I'm not too much of a meat person but my husband loves their burgers. I'm more about the cheese/sauces/pickles/spices selection. They have great spice blends, I love their Cajun mix. And it's really well priced! The service is quick-even when the store is packed. I can spend a lot of money here, quickly, so it's only a "few times per year visit" for me. But I'm looking forward to shopping here for camping trips!

Meats!! Looking for a butcher for thanksgiving. Lots of turkey, pork and steak (which ultimately we went with! Don't judge). Amazing bacon! Service is extremely good here - they all know their meats.

The absolute best in smoked meats. Tasty, juicy and succulent. Haven't had a bad item- the ham, bacon, Canadian bacon, pork chops- all so delicious. You won't go wrong here & they FedEx to your home.

I first heard about Oscar's more than seven years ago, as one of my jerky-loving friends called theirs the best jerky he'd ever had. I thought, "Hmm...I should eat that jerky someday." Seriously, that's word for word what I thought at the time. Fast forward to the present day, and I end up near Warrensburg at least twice every summer, and I've got to tell you...I don't know if that friend can be trusted. He did some very questionable things while we lived together in college, and more relevant: his jerky taste is a little suspect. Yes, Oscar's jerky is good (a little too salty IMO), but it is not the star of the show at Oscar's Adirondack Smoke House. In fact, despite the EXCELLENT summer sausage, smoked pork chops, smoked bacon, and aged cheddar...none of these items are the stars of the show either. In my personal opinion, there are two co-stars of the Oscar's Smoke House show: 1. The freaking MEAT VENDING MACHINE. You heard that right. Instead of like, an old Snickers bar, you can get a fantastic package of smoked bacon from a vending machine. This is a win any way you slice it. 2. The More Than Mustard. This is a weird one, but I'm of the personal opinion that this mustard that is made specially for Oscar's is the finest mustard in all the land. It is always in my fridge (with a couple backups in my freezer) because it's just that good. It's got the bite of dijon, the sweetness of honey, and it's all around perfect for just about any application. It will improve sandwiches, it will elevate vinaigrettes, it will transform any ham into a delicacy, and it will absolutely make any sausage or charcuterie pop. If you can't make it to the Adirondacks, they do take online orders. It's not the best portal, but it works. Get this mustard (and a bunch of meat to go with it), and thank me later.

If you like smoked meat, this is the place to go. In business in the same location since 1946. They have their processes down pat. We got a little lost finding Oscar's and ended up in the back parking lot. This was a lot for employees, and it was very full. Walk in and they have self-service coolers, or you can order from any of the numerous employees. We got applewood-smoked bacon and a bologna ring (my bad, I thought it was a kielbasa) We cooked both over an open fire at a campsite. The bacon was mouthwatering. The grilled bologna slices were also excellent. Very safe and customer-first store.
